Trip to the Norwegian Fjords - Aurland, Flåm and Gudvangen

If you’ve read Slartibartfast talking to Arthur Dent in Hitchhikers Guide to Galaxy, you would have heard that he received an award for designing the Broken Coastline, full of Fjords, of Norway, when they designed the Supercomputer called Earth to find the Ultimate Question to Answer (Meaning of life). Now having been to the Fjords myself, I can say that maybe he really deserves such an award even if was reality. Such a wonder, these Fjords are... Truly amazing!

Not yet.. But this winter definitely...Looking forward to it.. Since I had just landed at begining of last winter, I had to first get acclimatized to the cold winter... But this time, I can plan a trip to the North to see the Northern lights... any plans of coming to OTC for any training this winter??

The vogon curse thus follows for insulting him and calling him ugly...
"I will rend thee in the gobberwarts with my blurglecruncheon, See if I don't"

haha... yeah i was very surprised the photos turned out so well. am very happy.. yeah the tunnel was amazing.. long stretch.. seemed never ending tunnel... but they had these cool neon lit spots when u can pull up and take photos and stretch a little bit esp. if you start getting a bit claustrophobic and nausseated.. and Fjords were just beautiful...
Konkan railways.. ah.. thats one scenic train trip.. so many tunnels and mountains along the way.. I loved it when i took that train from mumbai to mangalore.. except we took at the wrong time during the monsoon season and landslides.. so it took almost 2 days incl all the halts in between and i can never forget that trip for so many other reasons... A classic vacation with family was a total disaster but otherwise, the sceneries were amazing...

u want me to go on FAST in northsea when u come in November?? do u hate me so much that u want me to freeze to death in Northsea?? haha.. i ve heard North sea can be extremely uncomfortable for even the most able sealegs during the start of winter from september onwards.. have to try to get onto some boat off Mombai... that will be a nice trip back home [:)].. did a start school module for one week.. quite interesting actually.. if u do come in Nov.. do let me know and if i am around drop by my office ...and if u plan to stay for weekend we could do go someplace..
